Music Experience

Annie’s music journey began all the way back to the 1990s, when she first achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Music in 1995. Prior to that, she has achieved her Music Theory Grade 8 Certificate from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in 1990, and the Advanced Certificate in Piano in 1992 from ABRSM too. After graduation, she proceeded to teach music in a high school in Hong Kong and also gained experience in Choral Conducting.

From then on, she has been teaching piano and music for leisure and examinations, which includes Aural Test Training, Sight Reading Training, Scale Playing Training, Music Theory, ABRSM Examinations, Music Festival Competitions, Music History Teaching, and also helping students to cope with their music college’s internal music assignments.

安妮的音樂旅程始於1990年代，而她在1995年荣获了藝術音樂的學士學位。在此之前，各别於1990年及1992年，她已經從英國皇家音樂學院取得了她的音樂理論八級證書（英國皇家音樂學院）和鋼琴高級證書了。畢業後，她在香港一所高中開始了音樂教学旅程，也積累了合唱指揮的經驗。

從那時起，她就一直教鋼琴和音樂給休閒和考試，其中包括聽力考試培訓，視奏培訓，音階訓練，音樂理論，英國皇家音樂學院考試訓練，音樂節比賽，音樂史教學，同時也幫助學生應付他們的音樂學院的音樂課程作業。

More About Ms. Annie

I have been teaching the piano for over 22 years to kids and adults alike in Hong Kong. From classical to pop piano, you name it, I teach it. Some of my students have went on to music colleges overseas, and some have become full-time pianists and piano teachers too.

I find joy in seeing my students grow and fall in love with the piano. I practice interactive teaching in all my classes, and get my students involve as much as possible, so they will learn and enjoy the piano more.

My students come from all backgrounds and ages, and I do my best to tailor made by classes to their individual needs.

我已經拥有超過22年的鋼琴教学经验。我的學生來自不同背景和年齡，其中包括了孩子和成人的教学；從古典到流行的鋼琴乐曲，我盡我所能來定制符合他們的個性需求。经过了我的指导，我的一些學生已经成功到了海外音樂學院，有的已成為專職的鋼琴家和鋼琴老師。

我發現我的喜悅来自于看到我的學生成長并愛上鋼琴。我的教学方法並非傳統的單面教學而是着重于互動教學，並盡可能让學生參與，當中與學生有討論及交流，並了解他們的困難，需要及期望。從而針對性地幫助他們練習，學習過程變得更有意義，更有效果。所以他們將在學習鋼琴的同时也享受学习的过程。
